A recent poll conducted by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal shows that 31 percent of Americans believe that the two party system is "seriously broken, and the country needs a third party". The same poll suggests that 40 percent of Americans view themselves as political independents.

The real aim of the Progressive Party
Since the Woodrow Wilson era, the overall aim of the Progressives is to control mainstream media and create enemies out of those whom disagree with their collective position. While our Founding Fathers wanted a small role for the Federal Government, preferring State Rights over Federal powers, Progressives seek to control as much as possible, with their ultimate aim being a One World Governance. Those who disagreed with Wilson ended up being silenced by being placed in prison. Wilson spread his propaganda by using his "four minute men" to give speeches in public. In fact Goebels (the Nazi propagandist) wrote in his diary that he learned the art of propaganda from the Wilson Administration! The reason Glenn Beck ticks off so many in this movement is he is right, and has uncovered the true aims. Instead of having an actual debate with Beck, Progressives instead use name calling (like calling him a "fear monger") which does nothing more than affirm the fact that their only effective tool in dealing with dissent is by immature attempts at attacking the character of those who disagree. Beck constantly invites ANYONE to prove him wrong, including Obama and his staff, yet not a single person has had the guts to come on his show and engage in a substantive debate. The only proven method of promoting economic growth is by cutting taxes drastically, and by getting rid of all the regulations and red tape that slows down growth. When companies are given room to innovate and expand, the economy booms.
Realistically, do ANY OF YOU PROGRESSIVES believe the astronomical debt, which exceeds 114 trillion dollars (14 trillion owed in loans and the rest in unfunded liabilities) can be dealt with by creating even more Entitlement Programs, such as Health Care? I am disabled and have been fighting for Social Security for years. My doctors say I can't work, but the SSA disagrees so I keep fighting. I worked two jobs and up to 70 hours a week for 23 years. I have paid my fair share of S.S. tax and the funds were meant for our retirement or disability. But, like so many other programs, the government used it as a "slush fund" and pissed away the money. Legalized theft is what I call it! All I ask for is to be paid the money back that I have contributed, nothing more. I would benefit from the health care plan, but I know it's wrong and it would do nothing more that create an overbloated system of rationed care. My British friend says a similar system in England is a "nightmare" of long waits for even basic services that increases already out of control taxes.
Yes, we do need a third party, but not a Progressive one. We need term limits at all levels of government, and we need to hold those responsible for corruption accountable for their misdeeds. WE need a party who upholds the basic tenets of the Constitution, that doesn't create 2800 page bills full of "pork projects" that are voted on yet never even read, and who speak openly and candidly in interviews (as opposed to spewing some written party line as if in perpetual campaign mode!).
